Sieving Hints

	After collecting a bucket of sapphire fill, empty 1/2 the bucket into the two sieves (coarse on the top, fine on the bottom).
	Wash this thoroughly in one of the water troughs. Using a side to side up/down action with both sieves in place for a minute or two. Repeating this up/down/side to side movement with coarse seive and the wash will start to align itself. The heavier gems (zircon/shapphire) will work their way into the middle of the sieve.
	After the wash has been cleaned in the water and 'centred', tip the top sieve (coarse) upside down onto the mat and check for colour. Repeat same process for bottom sieve (fine).
	Check carefully the centre region of the wash and collect any red/blue/green/yellow stones with your tweezers and place in your collection jar.
